She has maintained Art throughout her life as a hobby and her passion for the Arts has grown deeper and deeper, and now dedicates more time in her Art Studio to create new Abstract Art.

During her younger years at High School her Art teachers would encourage her to pursue a career in the Arts as her passion for painting was evident from a very young age.

Her paintings are inspired by nature, colour, and her faith.

Joanne loves experimenting with colour and texture. She primary creates Abstract Art, sometime her spirituality leads her to paint Artwork inspired by her faith.

She believes there is endless opportunity to create new abstract art pieces using textures and colours. She likes starting her abstract artwork not knowing where it will take her and not knowing the result. Sometimes she has an idea or vision that inspires her to create the Artwork.

Her work has been featured in many art competitions. She was a Semi-Finalist in the 2019 Doug Moran National Portrait Prize. For herself – portrait titled Joanne Daniel (Above).

She hopes you like and find a connection to her Artwork.
